Another international magazine will feature Marian as cover girl adding to the growing list of publications picking her to grace their recent issue. Marie Claire Magazine will feature Marian Rivera on its March 2008 issue.
Interestingly, her exposure on that issue will not only her charming beauty adored by many but some personal information not known to too many people. She shared her personal story during an interview conducted by Marie Claire and will also be published on the same issue.
She disclose to the magazine that she's a lola's girl. "Of course, I love my mom, too," she says, "But my grandma holds first place in my heart."
She also tells how hard it is to leave her grandma behind in Cavite to pursue her budding showbiz career."Since childhood, it's always been the two of us. Always," Marian shares, "Then I made the excruciating decision to leave her because I wanted to work."
Having taught by her grandmother to stand on her own feet, an article from Philippine Entertainment Magazine said, "she found herself washing her own clothes by hand and lugging her own things to shoots, a far cry from her pampered existence in Cavite." The same article regarding her journey to the top, she says, "Independence, self-confidence, knowing what's right and wrong, the will to act, and faith all led me to where I am now."
